The Circle Of Life is the famous song by Elton John, which sums up the story perfectly as we witness the birth of Simba, a lion cub in the Pride Land. We then observe his life as he grows up, but this is turned upside down as his father dies at the hands of his scheming uncle Scar. Pinning the death on Simba, Scar convinces Simba to go on the run, whilst Scar stays behind to claim the throne of the Pride Land.
